The project Scout Madrid Hostel is an initiative of Scouts of Madrid – MSC managed through the Foundation PROMESA.

Together, we try our hardest to offer the best accomodation to young visitors in Madrid. We have optimized our hostel's spaces and facilities for diverse groups, specializing our installations to host events, conferences, courses, practices and other socio-cultural activities, using as reference other educational and social entities in Madrid.

 

 

SCOUTS OF MADRID – MSC

We are the extracurricular movement responsible for Catholic Scouting in Madrid. We are part of the MSC Scouts, with more than 28.000 children, young people, and adults, 12.000 families and 400 Christian communities.

We are part of the Scout Movement, a universal community that shares life values, a spirit of work and a mission: to contribute to the making of a better world. Through our activities, articulated in accordance with the Scout Method, we accompany children and young people in their personal growth, giving them the opportunity of active involvement in an informal educational project that allows them to take control of their own development.

Through the accomplishment of their educational task, the scout leaders develop a service to others through which the Movement contributes to the positive transformation of the world, using their personal example as a fundamental tool and engaging in processes of education and development.

FUNDACIÓN PROMESA

With the main purpose of contributing to youth development, and considering that Scouting is a is an excellent way to do so, in 2010, the PROMESA Fundación was established.

Its mission is the development of the person from the education, especially in their free time, as well as the collaboration with the school and other institutions in the critical education of children and young people with the Scout methodology.

It was born with the initiative of Scouts of Madrid – MSC and seeks new formulas for the participation in the movement, link the old scouts and sympathizers, seek new forms of support to the active Scouting and achieve greater levels of associative stability.
