What documents do I need to bring with me?
In order to stay with us, you need to bring valid documentation: DNI, passport, driver’s license, Spanish residence permit, or another form of ID (EU residents).
What's included in the price?
Bedsheets, lockers and buffet breakfast are included in the price. And if you don’t bring towels, don’t worry, you can rent them.
Who can stay at Scout Madrid Hostel?
There is no age limitation to stay at Scout Madrid Hostel, it is only necessary to have a young spirit.
You cannot stay for more than 7 nights in the span of one month. If needed, talk to the Hostel Manager for details.
If you are a minor, you cannot share a room with strangers. Your entire room must be filled with people from your group. If you are not accompanied by a parent or guardian, you must send or present parental authorization to stay at the hostel.
How long does it take to get downtown?
By bus, it takes 15 minutes to get to Puerta del Sol from the hostel. The closest metro station to the hotel is a three minute walk, and is three stations away from Retiro Park. To learn more about transportation options to important locations (train, airport, etc.) see our Where Are We? tab.
What does Scout Madrid Hostel offer that I can’t find in other accommodations?
Scout Madrid hostels gives you the comfort of staying somewhere close to the center of Madrid, but lets you avoid all the inconveniences of staying in the center (noise, safety concerns, etc.). We are located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, full of green spaces and parks, quiet at night, with free parking in the street. We are ideal for groups and families, and for you too.
Why Scout?
Our Hostel was built on an initiative of the Scout Association of Madrid with the Promise Foundation. It does not mean that it is only intended for scouts or scout groups, it means that we manage this accommodation with Scout values and Scout principles for all guests (you can find information and orientation on the Scout Movement at the hostel).
Is there Wi-Fi ?
There is free WIFI throughout the hostel, and two computers with printer access in the common room.
What time should I arrive?
We are open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Check-in: from 13.00 h.
Check-out: 11.00 h.
If you arrive earlier, we can store your luggage until your room is ready.
Is there parking at the hostel?
No, but it is easy to park nearby for free, since we're located in an unregulated parking area. And since we are very close to the center of Madrid, you can forget about your car and get around by public transport.
What can I do in Madrid?
Our city is always full of a thousand interesting things to see or do. Shows, museums, sporting events, festivals or street parties… We recommend that you dive in on the Internet or consult the following official pages:

At our reception, we will help in any way we can to assist you in booking anything you need in Madrid, as well as recommending you activities if you've come without a plan in mind.
